Maria “Marie” (Pasquale) Giuliana died at her home in Hanover on March 10.

Born in Prezza, Italy, she came to the North End of Boston at the age of 3. Educated in the Boston schools, she was a resident of Dorchester before living 45 years in North Quincy and the past five years in Hanover.

Mrs. Giuliana was employed at David Brett Co. in Boston as a quality controller, retiring in 1990 after 30 years. She also was a matron on the Quincy school buses for 10 years.

Wife of the late Michael Giuliana, she is survived by her daughter, Karen M. Hayhurst, of Hanover; her grandchildren, Michael J. Hayhurst, William W. Hayhurst III and his wife, Jamie, and Marc R. Hayhurst; and her great-grandchildren, Emma J. Hayhurst and William W. Hayhurst IV.

She was the mother of the late Michael J. Giuliana, mother-in-law of the late William W. Hayhurst Jr., and sister of the late Eva Messana, Anthony J. Pasquale and Salvatore Pasquale.
