Marie L. “Lucy” (Ouelette) Tranquillino, 75, died Feb. 23 at Marian Manor, South Boston.
Born and raised in Salem, she was a graduate of Catherine Laboure School of Nursing. Mrs. Tranquillino had worked at Carney Hospital, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Massachusetts General Hospital and Floating Hospital.
A longtime resident of Milton, she was active at St. Agatha Church. She led the rosary service at the church, was a member of the Guild, and served as a Eucharistic minister at Quincy Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Theodore E. “Ted” Tranquillino; her daughters, Marie Tranquillino and Delores A. Tranquillino, both of Quincy; and her brother, Charles E. Ouelette, of Medford, Ore.
She was the daughter of the late Edward C. Ouelette and Marie (Larrocque) Ouelette.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Agatha Church on Feb. 26. Burial was in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Roslindale.
