Marie T. (Sinnott) Sullivan, of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, died in Braintree on July 7.
Born in Boston, Mrs. Sullivan was educated in Boston schools and was a graduate of St. Margaret School of Nursing.
A retired employee of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, she was one of the founding members of the Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women in Quincy.
Wife of the late Thomas W. Sullivan, she is survived by her children, Eileen S. Federico and her husband, Paul, and Phyllis M. Price and her husband, Jeff, all of Braintree, and Robert A. Sullivan, of Quincy; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Thomas W. Sullivan Jr. and Maria T. Sullivan, and sister of the late Alfred Sinnott, Joseph Sinnott, Eileen Dwyer and Phyllis Poulson.
A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Clare Church, Braintree, on July 10.
