Marion K. (Capuano) Paulicelli, 97, died at Bay Path Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Duxbury on Aug. 2.

Born in Boston, she was a Milton resident for 35 years and most recently an eight-year resident of Canton. She formerly lived in the North End and Roslindale.

Mrs. Paulicelli owned and operated the Café Marion at Faneuil Hall in Boston from 1955 until her retirement in 1990.

Mrs. Paulicelli was a former member of the Council on Aging’s Knitting Club.

Wife, of 50 years, of the late Cosimo Paulicelli, she is survived by her children, Marilyn Broderick, of Milton, Kathleen Engeian, of Westwood, Judith Cantalupo, of Canton, Alfred Paulicelli, of Methuen, and Michael Paulicelli, of Sarasota, Fla.; her sister-in-law, Lucy Appignani, of East Boston;13 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was the sister of the late James Capuano.

A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Elizabeth Church on Aug. 5. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
