Marjorie E. Barry

Marjorie E. (Young ) Barry, 89, of Milton and Sandwich, died at the Cape Heritage Nursing Home in Sandwich on Sept. 7.

Mrs. Barry was born in Newfoundland and graduated from high school there. She was a longtime resident of Milton and had recently lived in Sandwich with her son, James.

Wife of the late Frederick G. Barry, she is survived by her children, Frederick G. Barry Jr. and Paul Barry, both of Milton, Mary C. Jackson, of Maine, James Barry, of Sandwich, Joanne Bray, of Florida, and Michael Barry, of Gloucester; her sister, Esther O’Donnell, of Dennis; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Sept. 10 in St. Elizabeth Church. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.

Arrangements were by the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home.
