Mary Ann “Nancy” (Brennan) McKenna died at Colonial Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Weymouth, on Oct. 2.
Born in Boston, she grew up in Dorchester and graduated from Archbishop Cushing Central High School in 1956. Formerly a resident of Wollaston, she had resided in Braintree for the past 45 years.
She retired from her position as assistant property manager of Colonial Village Apartments, Weymouth, after a 25-year employment.
Wife of the late John F. McKenna, she is survived by her children, Julie Preston and her husband,
John, of Whitman, and Jennifer Hathaway and
her husband, Steven, of Concord; her grandchildren, John Preston and Jenna Preston; her sister, Lee-Ann Burrows, of Weymouth; and many nieces and
nephews.
She was the sister of the late Noreen Aborn.
A funeral Mass was celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth Landing, on Oct. 7. Burial was in Village Cemetery, Weymouth.
