Mary Grace Adams, 96, of Milton, formerly of Grosse Pointe, Mich., died Jan. 15.

Mrs. Adams was a volunteer in many organizations in Michigan and nationally, including the YWCA, American Association of University Women and Grosse Pointe Memorial Church. As a senior citizen, she volunteered in a kindergarten classroom in Grosse Pointe.

She enjoyed traveling around the country and the world.

Wife of the late Frederick William Adams, who died in 1990, she is survived by her children, Charles Adams and his wife, Kathryn, of Kinnelon, N.J., and Martha Jane “Marti” Adams, of Milton; three granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Milton Healthcare, 1200 Brush Hill Road, on Friday, Jan. 28, at 1:30 p.m.
