Mary Rose Sullivan

Mary Rose (Dalton) Sullivan, 89, died at her home in Readville on Aug. 27.

Born and raised in Boston, she had resided in Readville and Hyde Park for the past 60 years.

Mrs. Sullivan was a graduate of Girls Latin High School, Boston, and the laboratory program at Boston Medical Dispensary where she trained as a laboratory technician.

Wife of the late William J. Sullivan, she is survived by her children, William J. Sullivan Jr. and his wife, Barbara, of Medfield, John D. Sullivan and his wife, Charline, of South Natick, Rosemary Goff and her husband, Michael, of Readville, and Anne M. Sullivan, of Quincy; her grandchildren; Dan, Kate, Jenn, Trish, Melissa, Libby, Kim, Maura and Siobhan; seven great-grandchildren; and her siblings, John Dalton, of Mashpee, and Anne Dalton, of Norwood.

She was the sister of the late Barbara Fraser.

A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Pius X Church on Sept. 1. Burial was in New Calvary Cemetery.
