Michael R. “Bob” Rotondi died May 28.
Born in Boston, Mr. Rotondi lived in Roslindale for many years, prior to his move to Hingham with his wife nine years ago.
A retired employee of the city of Boston, he was an active member of the Old Colony Yacht Club, Dorchester.
Husband of the late Ida (DeVito) Rotondi, he is survived by his children, Richard Rotondi, of New Hampshire, Robert Rotondi, John Rotondi, Helen Semler and Diane Ruffini, all of Dedham, Robin Dellot, of Hingham, and Lois Downey, of West Roxbury; his sisters, Patty DelSignore, of Dedham, Mary Poole, of Brockton, and Sandra Miller and Linda Levesque, both of Attleboro; his 25 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
He was the father of the late Stephen Rotondi.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Mary Church, Dedham, on June 3. Burial was in St. Paul Cemetery, Hingham.
