Michaela (Stewart) Finnell, of Milton, died at home Nov. 14 after a long battle with cancer.
Mrs. Finnell volunteered and worked in the Milton schools and was a lector at St. Elizabeth Church where she taught religious education classes.
She touched the hearts of many children and adults and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her husband, William D. Finnell; her children, William Finnell Jr. and Michaela Mary Finnell; her mother, Mary Aylward Stewart, of Hingham; her brother, Paul Stewart and his wife, Marie, of Quincy; her sister, Megan Stewart, of Hingham; her parents-in-law, Joseph J. Finnell and Mildred E. Finnell; her siblings-in-law, Jack Finnell, Karen Finnell, Mike Finnell, Mary Ellen Finnell, Lyn Finnell, Jon Sullivan and Kathleen Sullivan; and her nieces and nephews Caitryn McCallum, Annie McCallum,
Kevin McCallum, Jane Stewart, Jack Stewart, Katie Finnell, Matthew Finnell, Alexandra Finnell, Kirsten Finnell, Kassandra Sullivan, Abagail Sullivan and Brenden Sullivan.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 20 in St. Elizabeth Church.
