Michele Saulnier

Michele (Sweeney) Saulnier, 54, of Quincy, a longtime employee at Stop & Shop on Newport Avenue in Quincy, died at home May 11 after a brief illness.
Born in Boston, she was raised in Milton and graduated from St. Agatha School, Fontbonne Academy and Fannie Farmer School of Cooking. She enjoyed culinary arts and was dedicated to caring for her children and her parents.
Mrs. Saulnier is survived by her children, Joshua
J. Saulnier and Yvonne E. Saulnier, both of Quincy; her mother, Dorothy W. (McElhiney) Sweeney;
her former husband, Gerald J. Saulnier; and her siblings, Patricia O’Neill, of Cheshire, Conn., Marylyn Howe, of Marshfield Hills, Charles Sweeney Jr., of California, M. Carol Sweeney-Boyd, of Milton, Terence Sweeney, of Arizona, Rosemary Gunning, of Norwell, Elizabeth Sweeney, of Cape Cod, Joseph Sweeney, of Milton, and Bonnie Sweeney, of Charlestown. She was the daughter of the late Maj. Gen. Charles W. Sweeney (USAF) and sister of the late Joan Sweeney.
A funeral service was held in St. Chrysostom Church, Quincy, on May 15. Burial was in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
Arrangements were by the Dolan Funeral Home.
