Miriam F. (Fleming) Conley died at Milton Hospital on April 25.
Born in Boston, she grew up in Dorchester and lived there until her move to Milton 46 years ago. A retired librarian of Boston College High School, she retired in 1991 after a 25-year employment.
Mrs. Conley was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy and Boston Business College, and attended Northeastern University. She was an active member of Notre Dame Academy Alumnae Association.
Wife of the late William D. Conley, she is survived by her children, Anne T. Burgess and her husband, Howard, of Merrimack, N.H., Mark W. Conley and his wife, Colleen, of Clifton Park, N.Y., Jane Foley and her husband, Lt. Kevin Foley of the Milton Police Department, of Milton, Eileen M. Gunderson and her husband, Edward, of Duxbury, Matthew D. Conley and his wife, Donna, of Merrimack, N.H., John J. Conley and his wife, Gail, of Norwell, and Robert L. Conley and his wife, Janine, of Plymouth; her siblings, Eileen Gillis, of Wayland, Jeanne Fleming, of Quincy, and James Fleming, of Dover; 20 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. She was the sister of the late Esther Fleming, Ethel Fleming and Anne Fleming.
A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Agatha Church. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
