Monica (McDonagh) Folan, 81, a resident of Randolph, died at home March 7.
Born and raised in Connemara, County Galway, Ireland, Mrs. Folan was a longtime resident of London and moved to Milton in 1971. She and her husband moved to Randolph about 10 years ago.
She is survived by her husband, John Folan; her children, Philomena Hicks, of Pacifica, Calif., Una Folan, of Concord, N.H., John Folan, of Milton, and Carmel O’Leary, of Norwell; her grandchildren, Adrienne O’Leary, Brian O’Leary, Clare O’Leary, Mollie Hicks, Sean Hicks, Aine Folan and Martin Folan; her brother, Peter McDonagh, of London; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Marie A. Marshall and sister of the late Johnny McDonagh, Molly McDonagh, Martin McDonagh and Michael McDonagh.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Elizabeth Church on March 11. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
Arrangements were by the Dolan Funeral Home.
