Nancy E. (Smith) Cruckshank, 91, died Oct. 22 at Norwell Knoll Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy illness.
Raised in Waltham, she attended Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School, and House in the Pines in Norton.
Mrs. Cruckshank worked as seamstress for Peck & Peck before spending her life as a devoted mother. She was a kind and gentle soul.
Wife of the late Blake G. Cruckshank, she is survived by her children, John D. Cruckshank, of Carver, Thomas A. Cruckshank, of Sebastopol, Calif., Blake G. Cruckshank Jr., of Raynham, and Jane E. Zimmermann, of South Dartmouth; seven grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
