Nancy L. (Larkin) Dowling, of Milton, died at home May 27 after a battle with cancer.
Born and raised in Quincy, Mrs. Dowling had resided in Milton for the past 44 years.
She was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy, Massachusetts College of Art and Northeastern University. A retired college professor, she had taught at Northeastern for 25 years and Massasoit Community College for 21 years.
The wife of the late Gerald J. Dowling, she is survived by her children, Nancy D. Killion, Geraldine D. Veneto, and David L. Dowling and his wife, Pramual, all of Milton; her grandchildren, Jacqueline Susan Killion, Michael Gerald Killion, Nicole A. Veneto, Gillian M. Veneto, Noparat Dowling and Rataporn Dowling; her brothers, James T. Larkin, of Connecticut, and David J. Larkin, of Minnesota; and her sister, Mary Jane Larkin, of Quincy.
She was the sister of the late Alice W. Larkin, Richard J. Larkin and John P. Larkin.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Agatha Church on May 30. Burial was private.
