P. Barry Pickering died May 26.

Husband of Patricia Whitney-Pickering and the late Marie (Clancy) Pickering, he is also survived by his son, Barry Alexander Pickering, his wife, Christine, and their daughter, Brianna, of Braintree; his stepchildren, Thomas Whitney, of Holbrook, Daryl Dullicki, Ronald Brothers, of Florida, and Richard Brothers, of Quincy; his siblings, Charles Pickering, Patricia Gadoury and Linda Mowles, all of Braintree, David Pickering, of Milton, Janice O’Connell, of Norwell, Gail Sim, of Wareham, and Michael Pickering, of Brockton.

A funeral Mass was celebrated May 31 in St. Thomas More Church, Braintree. Burial was in Plain Street Cemetery, Braintree.
