Patricia C. (McDonough) Barry, of Marshfield, formerly of Milton and Dorchester, died Sept 13.

Born and raised in Dorchester, she was a graduate of Jeremiah Burke High School.

She centered her life around her husband, their 11 children and her extended family.

Mrs. Barry was a member of St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church Guild.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas F. Barry; her children, Thomas Barry, of Hudson, Ohio, John Barry, of Marshfield, Stephen Barry, of Milton, Eileen Schreyer, of Stoughton, Patricia Lane, of Hershey, Pa., David Barry, of Bridgewater, Bette Anne Connaughton, of Charlottesville, Va., Mary Trabulsi, of Weymouth, Michael Barry, of Woburn, and Kathleen Sawyer, of Mansfield; 17 grandchildren; her brother, Redmond McDonough, of Milton; several nieces and nephews; and her brothers-in-law, Michael Barry, of Quincy, the Rev. Patrick Barry, of Conna, County Cork, Ireland, and the Rev. John Barry, of Vancouver, Canada.

She was the mother of the late James R. Barry, grandmother of the late Thomas E. Barry, and sister of the late Mary McDermott and Elizabeth Waters.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Mary of the Hills Church on Sept. 16.

Burial was in Milton Cemetery.

Arrangements were by the Dolan Funeral Home.
