Pauletta I. (Chodor) Litchfield, 62, died in Jacksonville, Fla., on March 23.
Born in Brookline, she lived in East Weymouth for many years, prior to her move to Jacksonville 10 years ago.
Mrs. Litchfield managed two retirement and life care communities, where she worked tirelessly and treated residents with the utmost compassion and individualized personal care. Every holiday was celebrated as she provided the residents with Easter baskets, Valentine’s Day treats and more.
She embraced life and her family meant everything to her. Her grandchildren knew that the ice cream truck never got by her Florida home without a treat for each of them. She cherished the many trips to Walt Disney World and family gatherings in both Florida and Massachusetts where all of her daughters and grandchildren came together as one.
Wife of the late Clarence H. “Junior” Litchfield, she is survived by her daughters, Kelly A. O’Donnell and her husband, Brian, of Norwell, Tracey A. Persson and her husband, Bob, of Weymouth, Wanda A. Hogrell and her husband, James, of West Bridgewater, and Wendy A. Litchfield and Stacey A. Litchfield, both of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren; her brother, Paul Chodor, his wife, Linda, and their children, all of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and her sister, Paula Chodor, of East Boston.
She was the daughter of the late Alexander and Thelma (Wilson) Chodor.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, East Weymouth, on March 28. Burial was in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
