Phyllis A. Krajewski

Phyllis A. (Shanks) Krajewski, 93, died in the William B. Rice Eventide Home, Quincy, on Feb. 1.

Born in New Brunswick, Canada, she moved to the Boston area at 8. She was a graduate of Roxbury Memorial High School.

She worked as an administrative assistant for the vice president and senior personnel manager at Stone & Webster Engineering Corp. in Boston for 34 years before retiring in 1985. Her co-workers knew her as Phyllis Cutter.

She had been a model for the Wolff Brothers fur salon on Newbury Street in Boston.

Mrs. Krajewski lived in Quincy from 1950 to 1996, when she relocated to Braintree. She moved back to Quincy in 2006. She was a member of the Woman’s Society at East Congregational Church in Milton and an associate member of Bethany Congregational Church in Quincy.

Wife of the late Vincent A. Krajewski, she is survived by her children, Janice A. Christensen and her husband, Frederick, of Hingham, and Linda K. Carr and her husband, Michael, of Quincy.

A funeral service was held in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home on Feb. 7. Burial was in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
