Randi C. (Christophersen) Richards, 101, died Dec. 18 in the Marina Bay Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Boston, she had been a Milton resident since 1920. She was a 1929 graduate of Milton High School and a 1934 graduate of Simmons College.

She was a librarian at Massachusetts Institute of Technology for 14 years before becoming a homemaker.

Mrs. Richards was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Quincy since 1959. She was a member of its altar guild, social ministry committee, music worship committee and women’s society.

Wife of the late Raymond R. Richards, she is survived by her sister, Clair C. Edman, of Quincy; her in-laws, E. Jeanne Richards, of Pennsylvania, and Charles E. Richards, of Missouri; her cousins, Janet Vanderplaat, of New York, and Barbara Culkin, of Quincy; and her godchildren, Susan DeCristofaro, of Hanover, also her cousin, and Chase H. Childs, of Pennsylvania.

A funeral service was held in the Church of the Good Shepherd on Dec. 23. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
