Richard J. Waszkiewicz

Richard J. Waszkiewicz, 53, of Dorchester, died at home June 5 after a long battle with multiple myeloma.
A lifelong Dorchester resident, he was the president of his family business, Randolph Engineering, an eyewear manufacturing company.
Mr. Waszkiewicz lived an adventurous life and was happiest while hiking the White Mountains, biking through backcountry roads, traveling, golfing, cooking, landscaping his home, and enjoying time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Maura E. (Quinlivan) Waszkiewicz; his children, Kerri Dellisanti and her husband, Marc, of Seattle, and Rick Waszkiewicz and his wife, Jessica, of Dorchester; his parents, Jan Waszkiewicz and Jean Waszkiewicz, of New Hampshire; his father-in-law, Timothy Quinlivan, of Milton; his grandchildren, Luca and Kai Dellisanti; his sisters, Christine Barriere, of New Hampshire, and Theresa Callahan, of Milton; and his brothers, Peter Waszkiewicz, of Quincy, and Robert Waszkiewicz, of New Hampshire.
He was the son-in-law of the late Anna Quinlivan.
A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Gregory Church, Dorchester, on June 9. Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
