Rita Hanlon died Oct. 2.
Born, raised and educated in Cambridge, she
resided in Dorchester prior to her move to Milton
25 years ago.
Miss Hanlon was employed as an airline stewardess for a number of years and retired from her secretarial position at the State House.
Daughter of the late Daniel L. Hanlon and Evelyn G. Hanlon, she is survived by her brother, Mark J. Hanlon; her niece, Celeste Hanlon, of Philadelphia; and her great-nephew, Brendan Durst, of Philadelphia.
She was the sister of the late Edward L. Hanlon.
A funeral service was held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home on Oct. 6.
