Robert F. Pettenati died at his home in Readville on Dec. 25.
Born in Boston, he had resided in Readville for
58 years.
A Navy veteran of World War II, Mr. Pettenati was the former owner of Pettenati & Sons Plastering Inc., the lead trumpet player of the Canton Band, a former member of the Milton Band, and a member of Mel-Par Seniors and the Cunningham Men’s and Couple’s bowling leagues.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine F. (Roust) Pettenati; his children, Carol Keough and her husband, Paul, of Marshfield, Joseph Pettenati and his wife, Karen, of Middleborough, John Pettenati and his wife, Rochelle, of Westport, Richard Pettenati and his wife, Kathleen, of Abington, Brian Pettenati and his wife, Gail, of Saugus, and Paul Pettenati and his wife, Donna, of Lakeville; his sister, Alice Falconi, of Hanover; 13 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Elizabeth Church on Dec. 30. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
