Robert G. Tutunjian

Robert G. Tutunjian, 86, of Milton, died June 5.
Born in Boston, he grew up and resided in Dorchester until his move to Milton 49 years ago. He was a 1941 graduate of English High School.
Mr. Tutunjian served in the Army for a short while until he was honorably discharged.
He was the former owner/operator of Eagle Market and Eagle Liquors in Dorchester for more than 50 years.
A member of St. Stephen’s Armenian Church in Watertown, he enjoyed woodworking for a time and golf in his later years. He helped out at the family business until last January.
He is survived by his wife, Alice (Terzian) Tutunjian; his children, Robert S. Tutunjian and his wife, Shooshan, of Shrewsbury, and Armen Ronald Tutunjian and his wife, Lisa, of Milton; four grandchildren, Christine, Lynne, Stephen and Michael; and his sisters, Queenie Boghosian, of Worcester and Marion Tateosian, of Bedford.
A funeral service was held in St. Stephen’s Armenian Church on June 9. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
