Robert L. Ziegler, 66, of Milton, formerly of Braintree and Grand Marsh, Wisc., died June 19 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston.
He was born in Wauwatosa, Wisc.
Mr. Ziegler was a machinist in the manufacturing industry and later a school bus driver for the Adams Friendship School District. After moving to Braintree, he was a bus driver for the South Shore YMCA’s after-school program.
He is survived by his wife, Dorine Levasseur, formerly of Lowell; his children, David Ziegler, Amy Ziegler, Billie Schultz and Charles Kelly, all of Wisconsin, Steve Kelly, of Nevada, Amanda Ziegler, of Ohio; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was the father of the late Michael Kelly.
A memorial service was held in First Congregational Church of Milton on June 26. Burial was private.
