Rosemary M. (Small) Berg died May 28 at the Mary McCarthy Center in Sandwich.
Born in Boston, she grew up in Milton, graduated from Milton High School and raised her family in the town before moving to Canton 10 years ago.
A former activities director at the Riverside Nursing Home in Mattapan, she assisted and touched many lives with her professional care.
Mrs. Berg had a passion for knitting. She made gifts for babies, family and friends.
Wife of the late Frank A. Berg, she is survived by her children, Francis E. Berg, of Falmouth, Kathleen M. Jensen, of New York, Robert K. Berg, of Milton, Maura K. White, of Mashpee, and Jeannine M. Inda, of Florida; her brother, Charles J. Small, of New Hampshire; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Patricia A. Flaherty, and sister of the late Dorothy King, Robert Small and Thomas Small.
A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Mary of the Hills Church on June 2. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
