Ruth V. Lannon

Ruth V. Lannon, 91, died at St. Patrick’s Manor, Framingham, on Dec. 24.

Born in Boston, she grew up in Mission Hill and lived in Newton and Quincy for several years.

A retired clerk with New England Telephone, she was a member of the New England Telephone Pioneers and Adventurers.

She was a member of the Catholic Daughters Court of St. Elizabeth.

Daughter of the late Thomas M. and Anna (Sullivan) Lannon, she is survived by her siblings, Paul G. Lannon and his wife, Ann, of Sudbury, and Ann T. Haley and her husband, James, of Harwichport; her sister-in-law, Ruth Lannon; several nephews; and a niece.

She was the sister of the late Rev. Thomas M. Lannon, Edna M. Woods and her husband, James, and James J. Lannon.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Agatha Church on Dec. 29. Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery, West Quincy.

Donations may be made to the Thomas M. Lannon Scholarship Fund at Boston College High School, 150 Morrissey Blvd., Dorchester, MA 02125.

Arrangements were by the Dolan Funeral Home.
