Sister Cecelia (formerly Sister John Kevin) Ridge, a member of the Missionary Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception of Newton, died March 1 at St. Patrick’s Manor, Framingham.
Daughter of the late Michael Ridge and Margaret (Flaherty) Ridge, she is survived by her sister, Mary C. Lawlor, of Milton, formerly of Dorchester; and her nieces and nephews, Joseph Lawlor, of Marshfield, Maureen Carr and Anthony Lawlor, both of Milton, Eileen DeBonis, of Quincy, Jerome Lawlor, of Quincy, and Cecelia Lawlor, of Norwell.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in the Chapel at Mount Alvernia Convent, Newton, on March 6. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
