Stavros Radeos died at Caritas Norwood Hospital on March 26.
Born, raised and educated in Tripoli, Greece, Mr. Radeos came to the United States in 1955. He resided in Dorchester before moving to Milton 27 years ago.
A former employee of Mrs. Cavanaugh’s Bakery, Boston, he also worked for the Boston Department of Health and Hospitals for many years.
An active member of the Annunciation Greek Cathedral of New England, Boston, he was also involved at St. John the Baptist Church in Boston’s South End.
Husband of the late Pota “Peggy” (Agriakonitis) Radeos, he is survived by his children, Angela R. Hanna, of Quincy, George S. Radeos, of Florida, John S. Radeos and his wife, Susan, of Milton, Nikolas S. Radeos and his wife, Maureen, of Braintree, Peter S. Radeos and his wife, Rita, of Dorchester, and Dr. Michael S. Radeos and his wife, Ann Dorina, of New York; his grandchildren, Lilliana Spillane and her husband, John, Dr. Nicole Hanna, Kristina Alexander and her husband, Jai, Steven Radeos, Jason Radeos, Donald Radeos and Christie Radeos; and his great- grandchildren, Liam Spillane, Eric Spillane and Leonidas Alexander.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, Braintree, on March 31. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
