Vera A. (MacDonald) Byrne, 97, died at Milton Hospital on June 13.
Born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, she was raised on Prince Edward Island and graduated from Prince of Wales College, Prince Edward Island. She and her husband moved to Boston in 1952 and Milton in 1982.
Wife of the late Francis P. Byrne, she is survived by her children, Milton Byrne, of Prince Edward Island, Maureen McDonnell, of Milton, David Byrne, of Stoneham, Richard Byrne, of Walpole, Carol Bruno, of Weymouth, and Patricia Leavitt, of Milton; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Agatha Church on June 16. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
Arrangements were by the Dolan Funeral Home.
