Virginia Caroline (Camardo) Ferrara died June 12 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center after a
brief illness.
Born in South Boston, she graduated from Gate of Heaven High School and was a Milton resident for more than 30 years. She was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Ragusa) Camardo Grimes.
Mrs. Ferrara is survived by her daughter, Virginia Porter, of Milton; her brother, Anthony Camardo, Esq., and his wife, Faye, of Cohasset; her sister-in-law, Louise Carmardo, of Quincy, and many nieces, nephews and friends; two friends, Elaine Carlson and Patti Scott; and her four-legged friend, Max.
She was the sister of the late Joseph Camardo and James Camardo.
A memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Burial was private.
