Walter J. Chipman Jr., of Weymouth, formerly of Milton, died Feb. 28.

Mr. Chipman was the owner of Brite-way Window Cleaning Co. in Weymouth.

He is survived by his children, Kathleen A. Peltier and Patricia A. Sullivan, both of Milton, and Tracy M. Day, of Bethel, Conn.; his siblings, Sister Lorraine Chipman and Bernadette T. Grogan, both of Dorchester, Elaine T. Ahern, of Florida, Joanne K. Rowley, of West Roxbury, Robert T. Chipman, of Franklin, Peggy K. Romaine and Nancy T. Klemetson, both of New Hampshire, Gerald P. Chipman, of Bridgewater, and Joan E. Chipman, of Rochester; eight grandchildren; and his former wife, Virginia (Boland) Chipman.

A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Agatha Church on March 3.
