William F. Hubbard died at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center on May 9.
Born in Boston, he had lived in Milton for the past 47 years. He was a graduate of Quincy College and had worked as a postal clerk in Quincy.
Mr. Hubbard was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa (Cimmino) Hubbard; his children, Pauline Quirk, of Abington, Lorraine Hubbard, of Florida, William F. Hubbard Jr., of Readville, and Dorothy Gallant, of Norton; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was the father of the late Carolyn Vacheresse, and the brother of the late Robert Hubbard and Fred Hubbard.
A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Mary of the Hills Church on May 14. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
Arrangements were by the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home.
