William J. Kerins died in Milton Hospital on
Feb. 13.
Born in Boston, he had resided in Milton for the past 33 years.
A Navy veteran of World War II, Mr. Kerins formerly worked as superintendent of shop and equipment at the Metropolitan District Commission. He retired in 1988 after a 42-year employment.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Sullivan) Kerins; his children, Brian W. Kerins and his wife, MaryEllen, of Hyde Park, and William J. Kerins Jr. and his wife, Anne, of Norfolk; and his grandchildren, Danielle Kerins, Brian Kerins Jr. and Courtney Kerins, all of Hyde Park, and William J. Kerins III, Kathryn Kerins, Anne Kerins and Patrick Kerins, all of Norfolk. Funeral services and burial were private.
