Yolanda Chiuve

Yolanda “Yoli” (Cuozzo) Chiuve, 88, died in the Marina Bay Skilled Nursing, Quincy, on Oct. 27.

Born in Boston, she was a former longtime resident of Hyde Park.

Mrs. Chiuve was a graduate of East Boston High School and a buyer for an East Boston dress shop.

Wife of the late Michael Chiuve, she is survived by her siblings, Anne R. Piatelli, of Milton, and Phyllis Marsilia and Mariano “Buddy” Cuozzo, both of Revere; her goddaughter, Pamela A. Memmolo; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was the sister of the late Mary Carpinella, Lillian Cuozzo Babista, Josephine Spinazolla, Guy Cuozzo and Anna Delorenzo.

A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Agatha Church on Oct. 30. Burial was in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.

Donations may be made to the Old Colony Hospice, One Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368.

Arrangements were by the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home.
