Yvonne D. (Barthelemy) Manning, 93, of Milton, died April 12.

Born and raised in Lorraine, France, she was a schoolteacher until she arrived in Milton in 1946 as the war bride of her late husband, Richard M. Manning.

Mrs. Manning was an avid candlepin and lawn bowler.

She is survived by her children, Michele Manning, of Berkeley, Calif., and Maui, Hawaii, Richard Manning and his wife, Susan, of Amesbury, Christine Manning, of San Francisco, Bryan Manning and his wife, Laura Caso-Manning, and William Manning, all of Milton, and Patricia Manning and her husband, Edward Elisio, of Bensalem, Pa.; her grandchildren, Tim, Danielle, Heather, Ross, Dennis, Raquel, Brianna, Denise, Michael, Will and Jean; a great-grandson, Liam; and an extended family in the United States and France.

She was the mother-in-law of the late Ben Hudnall and Marie Clabby.

A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Agatha Church on April 18. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
