The “Caring Crew” from Cunningham Elementary School visited the seniors at Winter Valley on
Dec. 14.

They brought delicious baked goodies and treats and served everyone. They sang well-rehearsed holiday carols and helped us with a craft project that we got to keep.

The crew consists of fourth- and fifth-graders. This is the fourth year they’ve come to spread joyful holiday spirits to our seniors. Each year there are some new faces, but they are always full of smiles to share with us and we all truly appreciate their efforts.

I especially want to thank Milton parent Tricia Chapple for her help in organizing the crew. The seniors look forward to the students’ visit very much and are always in great spirits afterward.
