Robert Clark Elected
Chiropractic President

10/27/11
Dr. Robert J. Clark, a native of Milton, has been named president of the Massachusetts Chiropractic Society.

“I am honored to be elected as president of this nonprofit volunteer organization whose goals are to improve and be an advocate for the chiropractor profession in our state. This society also serves to educate the consumer about the value of chiropractic care and is a voice for the rights of patients in our state,” he said. “Chiropractic care is cost-effective, noninvasive and it works; the research supports this.”

Clark has a family practice on Willard Street in Quincy, caring for patients of all ages.

After graduating from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst with a degree in civil engineering, he went on to Life College in Georgia to obtain his doctorate in chiropractic.

Throughout his life, he has been active with sports including wrestling, rugby and now hockey. Severe rugby injuries brought him into chiropractic care and, because of the results, he went back to college for his doctorate.

“Now I’m an engineer of the spine,” he said. “Every day I go to work and make a difference with our patients; this is what also inspires me to be involved in this advocacy role with the other board members of our state society.”
