The Milton Times doesn’t just magically appear on the shelves at local stores.
Every Thursday morning, I head off for our delivery route to various spots in and around the town. We like to think our papers are located with convenience in mind, so that, to our loyal readers, the latest news is just a short walk away.
As the product of a community that cares about its news and events, we put time and care into putting out each week’s paper. Obviously, we’d like to be everywhere all at once, but with our staffing the way that it is that’s just not possible. We don’t have a fleet of delivery vans. We try to get the latest issue of the Times to each of our vendors as soon as we can.
For those interested in reading us, the Milton Times is available at these locations: Pleasant Deli Market, 330 Pleasant St.; Milton Food Mart, 138 Brook Road; Radio Coffeehouse, 24 Central Ave.; Milton Public Library, 476 Canton Ave.; Milton Hospital, 199 Reedsdale Road; Bent’s Cookie Factory, 7 Pleasant St.; Milton House of Pizza, 537 Adams St.; East Milton Wine and Spirits, 368 Granite Ave.; CVS Pharmacy, Milton Marketplace, 10 Bassett St.; Tedeschi’s, 590 Randolph Ave. (Route 28); Tedeschi’s, 98 Houston Ave.; Tedeschi’s, 695 Truman Highway, Hyde Park; Tedeschi’s, 650 Adams St., Quincy; 7-Eleven, 678 Adams St., Quincy; Rite Aid Pharmacy, 1100 River St., Dorchester; and Caritas Carney Hospital, 2100 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester.
