The meeting will be open to the public and provide residents with a chance to engage the governor directly on issues of concern.
The governor has chosen 11 locations in different regions of the state and another four locations for what he calls “public cabinet meetings,” which will include his cabinet secretaries.
“As we continue to rebuild our economy and our people, it’s important that all our residents feel part of these initiatives,” Patrick says. “I look forward to hearing from all of my constituents on issues they care about most, and how the state can be a better partner to local communities.”
Among the communities chosen for the town hall-style meeting are Salem, Hull, Amesbury, Hyannis and Great Barrington. The cabinet meetings will be held in Amherst, Lowell, New Bedford and Worcester.
