“What makes someone a good leader except that extra quality of striving to be better, going beyond expectations, making sure everything is done as well as it can be?” she asked. “That’s excellence, and that’s what everyone who stands out has got … You’re not good enough unless you’re better than yourself. Every day. All the time.”
Lynda Lee Sheridan, vice chair of the School Committee, and Principal John Drottar also spoke.
Jacky Wan was honored as the only member of the class with four years of perfect attendance.
The senior class officers are: President Meaghan Connors, Vice President Christine Buckland, Secretary Kelly Madigan and Treasurer Sean Riordan.
The senior student government is Julia Curran, Julia Hanna and Ian Sloane.
Joshua Rosmarin and Meredith Sterritt represented the class at School Committee meetings.
