Senate Proposes
$1M for Arts Center

The bill moves to the House Ways and Means Committee for further action.
“We have a terrific opportunity to create a center for learning, culture and community events in Milton,” says Sen. Brian Joyce, who requested the bond money and is also exploring state grant opportunities for the project. “This money will be a huge boost in terms of designing and building the center which obviously will be a tremendous new community resource.”
One suggested location for the center is the Milton Woman’s Club building on Reedsdale Road.
