Bingo is always a popular activity at the Hancock Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Quincy; recently the residents were joined by a group of 6th grade students from the South Middle School in Braintree. The game offered the opportunity for some spirited competition and lively conversation.
“We always have a wonderful experience at Hancock Park,” says Nicole Joyce, 6th grade math teacher at South Middle School. “The staff is exceptionally welcoming and the people that live there are great fun for our kids.”
The South Middle School students belong to the “Pay It Forward” program, designed to discover creative ways to give back to the community while creating new experiences and making a difference in people’s lives.
