Forbes House Celebrates 50th with News Interviews

As they celebrate their 50th year, the Forbes House Museum has been the focus of interviews and articles from near and far.

On Abraham Lincoln’s birthday, the museum was visited not only by members of the Fox 25 morning news team, but local students as well who conducted their own interview of museum officials.

In a live interview, Fox 25’s Elizabeth Hopkins interviewed Forbes Museum Executive Director Robin Tagliaferri and Bridgewater State University Professor Emeritus Dr. Thomas Turner in the museum’s Lincoln Room, as well as taped segments in the Lincoln Cabin on museum grounds and viewed the Mary Bowditch Forbes Lincoln  collection of artifact. Students from Milton public schools and St. Agatha school were also interviews.

In addition, the South China Morning Press recently published an article commemorating the 230th anniversary of the first American trade mission to China and its connection to the Forbes House Museum. The article can be read here.
