Stoughton Parcel Sale Moves Forward

| February 12, 2014

Stoughton Parcel Sale

Sale of the Governor Stoughton property moved forward this week as Town Administrator Annemarie Fagan announced that Probate Court Judge George Phelan officially approved the sale of the parcel to Pulte Homes.

Fagan said the judge’s Jan. 23 decision allows Pulte to begin the preliminary site work before finalizing plans for 23 homes on 30 acres of the Stoughton property. The land was left in trust for the benefit of the poor of Milton and the $5 million must be dedicated for that purpose. The town will retain the remaining four acres.
