Police investigate Curry assault

Milton, MA – The Milton Police Department and the Curry College Public Safety Office are continuing their investigation of a sexual assault incident that occurred on Sunday, April 27 at the school.

According to a Tweet issued by the Currier Times student newspaper, the woman was approached in the north campus residence hall at approximately 4:30 a.m. by an unknown man. She described the man as a white male, approximately 6-feet tall with dark hair, wearing a green shirt and jeans.

According to media reports, the college issued a statement reading, “The College took immediate and appropriate actions upon receiving the report, including supporting our student, informing external law enforcement, and issuing a safety alert to our community.”

The school is reportedly also providing resources to the students who reported the incident and to the Curry College community.

The Currier Times said that anyone with any information regarding the incident is asked to contact the police department of the Curry Public Safety Office at 617-333-2159.
