Cemetery looks to expansion options

Milton, MA – Rubble, rock and a rickety old barn prevent Milton Cemetery trustees from lifting a moratorium on gravesite sales, and that’s painful for some local families, according to Therese Desmond, cemetery superintendent.

Desmond told the trustees April 27 that the century-old barn near the Garden of Hope is structurally sound but an eyesore that prevents her staff from developing 600 gravesite on the adjacent property.
