Residents: Stop scenic road work

Milton, MA – At a Citizens Speak June 22, residents urged Selectmen to issue a cease and desist order to the Department of Public Works to halt further paving and widening of designated scenic roads in their neighborhood of Hillside, Forest and Harland streets.  “Our neighborhood is outraged and up in arms:, said Hillside Street resident Carol Stocker who described residents terrified of speeding cars, the lack of walking routes and the impact on the historic stone walls.
