Lola Tom has joined Hamel-Lydon Chapel and Cremation Service of Massachusetts, 650 Hancock Street, Quincy.
She has been hired as the Manager of Asian Services and Community Development and Funeral Director Apprentice.
Christopher Goulet and Michelle Lydon are funeral directors and owners of Hamel-Lydon Chapel.
Tom is on the Patient-Family Advisory Council and Cultural Competency Committee at BID-Milton Hospital.
She has joined the funeral home team to enhance Asian funeral service. The team works together to provide pre-planning funeral consultations, cemetery concierge services, cremation and funeral services.
Tom has been active in the eldercare and healthcare community for over 20 years establishing Asian programs and services. Her past work affiliations are Greater Boston Chinese Golden Age Center, South Cove Manor Nursing Home, Quincy Medical Center, Multicultural Home Care, and Good Shepherd Community Care.
