Celebrate your mother with the Wakefield Estate, located on 1465 Brush Hill Road in Milton, as part of its "Celebrate Spring, Mothers, and Gardens" event on Saturday, May 11 from 1 to 4 p.m.

The estate is celebrating all of its "mothers" – Mother Earth, mama llamas, and others during its annual celebration of spring and Mother's Day tea that this year is being held the day before Mother's Day.

Reservations are not needed if your family just wants to enjoy a stroll or visit with the animals during open hours from 1 to 4 p.m. but are requested if you plan to attend the informal tea starting at 3 p.m. A $10 donation is requested for adults attending the tea while those under 12 are welcome for free. To RSVP, call 617-333-0924, ext. 22.

This event is weather dependent but the tea will be held in the Isaac Davenport mansion rain or shine.
